Walk before an exam to ease anxiety and calm your nerves
Speak out loud instead of simply reading
Teach what you have learned to others
Create mental associations (mind maps)
Draw diagrams to help you visualize information
Times New Roman is the fastest font to read! Don't use fonts that are artsy when you are preparing. It can be a distraction to you!
Create flashcards with the most important information
Take regular study breaks as it can be difficult to properly prepare if you are exhausted
Use background music or sounds (like the ones above) to help keep you from being distracted
Practice, practice, practice… don't expect to learn something after working with it one time
